Punjab University Academic Staff Association (PUASA) welcomes release of university funds

Punjab University Academic Staff Association (PUASA) has thanked PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif for slating delay in the release of funds for the universities and Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf for taking notice of the issue and ordering the finance ministry to immediately release the funds.

Lok Virsa to start three-month training workshops of master artisans

ISLAMABAD: Lok Virsa (National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage) will hold a series of training workshops for 128 master artisans and the exhibitions of their crafts from July 4 to October 28. Pakistani student wins silver medal in Genius Olympiad (SUNY)

A Pakistani student won silver medal in an international competition about environmental issues held at State University of New York (SUNY) at Oswego.

 

Students from forty countries presented 657 projects in the Genius Olympiad where the Shadab Rasool Buriro from Khairpur, Sindh stood second to win silver medal.

 

Another Pakistani student Abdul Daim from Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was awarded with honourable mention
