Learning gets tough at roofless Swat girls school

<strong>MINGORA: The government girls primary school Bowrai in Swat valley is without roof for last six months and its students have been taking classes under open sky. </strong>

Educational institutions to re-open on Jan 2, 2013

ISLAMABAD – The educational institutions working under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) will re-open from January 2 (Wednesday) after weeklong winter vacations.

Director Model Colleges, FDE Tariq Masood told APP that the vacations, which started from December 24, will end on January 1 while the institutes will reopen from the next day. He said thu winter vacations were announced for the students due to the prevailing intense cold weather conditions.
