A sleeping 4-year-old child was locked in his classroom.
According to details, Muhammad Junaid, student of City District Government School fell asleep in his classroom. School officials, instead of inspecting the classroom, locked the door. When the child did not return home, his parents and area police started a search. The child was found in his locked classroom hours after the search was initiated. RAWALPINDI (INP): Punjab SES Teachers Association has demanded increase in salaries and time scale. Punjab SES Teachers Association president Ch. Zaffar Mehmood said that teachers should be given promotion according to the list of 2009 under Chief Minister Package. He said that teachers should also be given promotion and time scale on additional educational qualification, adding that educators have been facing problems.

ISLAMABAD: The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will begin admissions for MSc (Hons), MS/M Phil and PhD programmes from December 10 across the country simultaneously.
