KARACHI: Firing incidents in various areas of Karachi claimed seven more lives on late Friday night, raising death toll to 13 during last 24 hours, Geo News reported.
According to the report, four out of five victims of firing incident, occurred in Banaras, succumbed to their injuries on late Friday, hospital sources said.
The incident of firing took place on Banaras bridge where unidentified armed men opened fire at a bike and a car, resultantly five people got critical injuries.

LAHORE: A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Punjab government and the World Wide Fund (WWF) on Friday for cooperation in overcoming environmental pollution.

15th Charsadda school blown up CHARSADDA: The militants blew up a government-run school in Sardheri area on Friday, police sources said.
The sources said the militants had planted explosive devices at the building of the Government Primary School Ibrahimzai in Sardheri.The structure of the two-room school was razed to the ground when the explosives went off one after the other at 2am, the sources added.

A flower show was inaugurated at a local golf club by former Punjab Governor Lt-Gen(r) Khalid Maqbool on Friday.
