KU workshop on Modern Spectroscopic Techniques

KARACHI (PPI): The NASIC Workshop on Modern Spectroscopic Techniques and Their Applications in Structure Determination will be held at the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi (UoK), on December 1-3, 2014.
About 40 international eminent scientists from 18 countries are expected to participate in this workshop.

Punjab University students win positions in declamation contests

LAHORE (INP): The brilliant students of various departments of Punjab University have participated in bilingual declamation contests and won team trophy with outstanding performances.
Punjab University Law College (PULC) students Moazam Lodhi and Hamza Mustafa won 1st positions in English and Urdu declamations respectively held at PAF Academy Risaalpur, setting the record for the first time in the history by winning team trophy.

CHARSADDA: Scores of girl students of Government Primary School Sherpayan and their parents staged protest against its closure in Farooq Azam Chowk on Friday.
